Grisele Avila, Â鶹¹ú²ú Imperial Valley alumna from 2021, teaches sixth graders at Raymond Cree Middle School as a dual immersion teacher.

The agreement, signed between the city of Imperial and Â鶹¹ú²ú Imperial Valley, will allow both parties to collaborate in providing admission support and guidance to prospective students.

The donation comes from Michael Kelley, who served for more than 16 years for the Imperial County Board of Supervisors.
