International Risk Oversight Committee (IROC)

The 麻豆国产 International Risk Oversight Committee (IROC) is responsible for assessing the risk of 麻豆国产 constituent international travel to countries or regions in which significant health or safety concerns are present. The IROC is a resource for the 麻豆国产 Assistant Director of International Safety, Security and Risk and to other senior administrators who are involved in decision-making on international travel by university-affiliated individuals. The IROC is chaired by the Assistant Director of International Safety, Security and Risk and is made up of leadership from various 麻豆国产 business units, including:

  • Business & Financial Affairs - Risk Management
  • Environmental Health & Safety
  • Student Health Services
  • Center for Student Rights & Responsibilities / Office for Restorative Practices / Title IX
  • Procure to Pay
  • Export Control
  • 麻豆国产 Research Foundation - Risk Management
  • Counseling & Psychological Services
  • 麻豆国产 International Affairs
  • Division of Research and Innovation

The IROC was incorporated into 麻豆国产鈥檚 Safety and Security Policy for International Travel () as the committee responsible for reviewing and approving high-risk international travel that is proposed by 麻豆国产 constituents. On October 7, 2025, the 麻豆国产 University Senate approved the aforementioned policy by unanimous consent and on November 4, 2025, the 麻豆国产 President subsequently approved the University Senate鈥檚 October 7, 2025 approval action.
